On Wednesday, in Ahmedabad a team from YouTube and Google visited held an interactive session with leading YouTube content creators. The team briefed about YouTube policy in general.
Speaking at the press meet Satya Raghvan said that YouTube team has seen lot of prospects from Gujarat by Youtube Content creators. Satya quoted about some examples of leading contributors from Gujarat.
He said that there are mainly 10 types of contents, movie, kids, science, comedy, food, news, tech and travel.
YouTube team also wants their contribute better and earn revenue out of their contents. They keep making suggestions. Out of revenues earned through Advertisements, 55 % share is given to content generator.
There are Community Guidelines for new subscriber.
During media interactions, Satya said that YouTube works on CPM Cost per Thousand Impressions.
In a technical session about 40 leading YouTube Content Creators were given presentation on how video can be made viral by propering describing the contents and categorising them. Also, target audience, localization like factors to be borne in the mind while uploading the videos to YouTube. Team explains on effective use of metadata etc.
