Vascular diseases are quite prevalent in India. India is alarmingly poised to become the diabetic capital of the world by 2020 and Diabetes Mallitus is the major cause of peripheral vascular diseases and limb loss still as per report 98% cases remain undetected due to unawareness.

A press conference was held in Ahmedabad on World Vascular Day to spread the awareness about disease.
