Rani ki Vav (the queen’s stepwell) a stepwell situated in the town of Patan , which is a very famous sightseeing and heritage site in Gujarat and India. It is listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO on 22nd June 2014.
Union Cultural Minister Prahladsinh Patel informed that the Vav will remain open till 9 pm, instead of 6:30 pm.
Decision of keeping Vav open till 9 pm was taken in public interest. As per Cutural minister daily there are 300 to 500 visitors to the site. On Sunday there are as many as 1,500 visitors to the Vav. Now, they will be able to access heritage site till 9 pm in the evening.
