Women’s Reservation Bill that seeks to provide 33 per cent quota for women in Lok Sabha and state legislative assemblies has been introduced in the Lok Sabha.

Law minister Meghwal has tabled the women’s reservation bill amid ruckus in Lok Sabha. The Bill will be up for discussion tomorrow, September 20. The Constitution (One Hundred and Twenty-eighth Amendment) Bill, 2023, was tabled for discussion on the first day of House proceedings in the new Parliament House by Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal amid ruckus in the Lok Sabha. Both Houses have been adjourned for the day.
