Today in Ahmedabad, Wajra O’Force Brigade was formed for the first time in Gujarat. The Brigade was blessed by esteem presence of Ahmedabad Gujarat. Among prominent women personalities were from Police department, EDI, Airforce Wives Welfare Association, Ministry of Youth Affairs (GOI), Income Tax department. Ruzan Khambhatta, Shilpa Chokshi, BK Chandrika Didi, Dr Jyotsana Yagnik, Manjula Subramaniam and Nilam Dhir were at launch of Wajra O’Force Brigade in Ahmedabad. Dignitaries and women present at the launch of event took a pledge of empowerment with holding candle in their hands showing commitment for strong social and economical value of the society and a life of dignity.
The event happened the state where chief minister Anandiben Patel, former mayor Meenakshiben Patel and Municipal Commissioner D Thara are themselves women. A great and real initiative towards women empowerment in Gujarat.
