Ahmedabad, March 9,2025: As a part of celebration of International Women’s Day, the Gujarat State Women Doctors Conference today organised on the theme “EMPOWERING WOMEN, INSPIRING CHANGE”. The aim of the conference is to improve the quality of living of women in our society by talking about physical and emotional wellness.

Giving details about the conference Dr Mona Desai, Conference Chairperson said “We have kept talks on current topics like Artificial Intelligence in Medical Practice, which is now the future, “Healthy Women, Healthy World”-where in Endocrinologist talked on physical health of Women, Padmashree Dr. Sudhir Shah talked about how to attain peace of Mind.”
She added “We Doctors are full of stress due to dual responsibility of Profession and Family. A talk of how to control emotions by a psychiatrist-as women are known to be very emotional. A burning topic of Cyber crime was also discussed as now a days everyone needs to be aware and agile. All in all it is package of Mental and Physical well being -a women cannot become Empowered without this two things. Our aim is to improve the thinking of women and thereby to bring a positive change in the society.”
More than 400 women doctors across the state participated in the conference.
