Today there was a fierce fight between Kunvarji Bawaliya of BJP and Avsar Nakiya of Congress for Jasdan seat.
The seat had fallen vacant as Bawaliya resigned from the post , left Congress and joined BJP.
Both Congress and BJP were closely monitoring voting process, as Jasdan seat belonged to Congress and this time it has become prestige issue for BJP.Fate of two arch rivals is sealed in ballot box and will be decided on 23rd November afternoon when vote counting will be over.58% voter turnout recorded in Jasdan (east) and 62% in Jasdan (west) till 4 pm. Jasdan (north) has recorded 57% voter turnout till 4 pm.
I will win elections by doubled number of votes this time said Kunvarji Bawaliya expressing confidence.
People were enthusiast about the by-election, however some farmers registered protest.I have faith Jasdan people will show mirror to BJP and choose Congress said Opposition leader Paresh Dhanani.
