Today in Ahmedabad, Gujarat Congress MLAs and corporators requested for appointment with Ahmedabad Mayor to represent on privatization of VS Hospital and their objection onto it. Ahmedabad Mayor did not gave time to Congress partymen.
Congress workers wore threads in their neck and shouted slogans against authorities about attempt to privatize VS Hospital.
The protest was led by Gujarat Congress MLA Gyassuddin Sheikh , opposition leader Sharma and former Congress Corporator Badruddin Sheikh.
Congress partymen were detained by Ellis Bridge police.
Case of complaint filed against Congress workers for damaging property of VS hospital. All accused to remain present at police station today.
