Today during oath ceremony of new Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, it is learnt that 9 minister of Anandiben Patel ministry have been dropped and 14 others have been continued. Nitin Patel Deputy Chief Minister will also take oath along with other ministers.
List of dropped ministers is as follows:
- Vasuben Trivedi – Women and Child Development Minsiter
- Tarachand Chheda – Cottage Industries, Salt Industries and Cow Protection
- Saurabh Patel – Energy and Finance Minister
- Mangubhai Patel – Forest, Environment, Adivasi Empowerment Minister
- Ramanlal Vora – Social Empowerment Minister
- Govind Patel –Energy and Petrochemicals, Science and Technology
- Kanti Gamit – Adivasi Welfare Minister
- Rajni Patel – Home Minister
- Chhatrasinh Mori – Food and Civil Supplies
It is emerging that Rupani will take oath in Vijay Muhurat at 12:39 pm with 23 ministers in Gandhinagar at Mahatama Mandir.
Oath ceremony will be administered by Gujarat Governor Om Prakash Kohli, as per sources.
