Today Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani flagged-off Ahmedabad-Mumbai Tejas Express, the semi-high speed train equipped with modern facilities and flight-like onboard services, amid much fanfare from Ahmedabad Railway Station this morning, which will be on track for commercial run from January 19.
Gujarat CM held a meeting with Union Railways and Commerce & Indries Minister Piyush Goyal and discussed faster execution of various railway projects underway in Gujarat including gauge conversion, track doubling and Gandhinagar Railway Station redevelopment works.
PM Narendra Modi has brought about 360 degree transformation in all the sectors including railways and it is a matter of great pride that Tejas Express has been flagged off from Ahmedabad which will ensure faster, accountable and safer train travel said Rupani while speaking in the occasion.
