Ahmedabad, April 10th, 2025: Venus Institute of Physiotherapy, which is part of Swarrnim Startup & Innovation University, recently marked its 10th anniversary with a 10-day webinar series aimed at enhancing students’ knowledge and clinical acumen. The sessions, held at the university’s Seminar Hall on Tuesday, saw participation from 107 students.
The series was designed to provide insights into advanced physiotherapy practices, with a focus on bridging academic learning and clinical application.
The sessions covered topics including rehabilitation, pain management, sports therapy, and evidence-based physiotherapy techniques.
Notable guests included Shri Snehal Desai (Board of Governors Member, Swarrnim University), Shri Mahendra Chaudhari (CEO, NIDHI TBI, IIPHG), and Mr Raj Shah (Founder, WeHear).
The expert-led sessions featured prominent names in physiotherapy. Dr Gaurav Kachawa spoke on the role of ergonomic physiotherapy in long-term care, while Dr Nidhi Sharma addressed post-operative recovery after total knee replacement. Dr Priyanshu Rathod discussed about the one’s career progression in physiotherapy, and Dr Joyal Tejpal spoke on early diagnostic criteria for cerebral palsy.
Other sessions included Dr Zarana Khamar’s talk on managing urinary incontinence, Dr Surjeet Chakaranarty’s insights into physiotherapy in the fitness industry, and Dr Tvisha Patel’s overview of electrotherapy prescription. Dr Prach Shah covered cervicogenic headaches, while the series concluded with Dr M. Balaganapathy’s session on a holistic approach to knee osteoarthritis.
