As a part of the North-South Corridor of Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project Phase-I, for the construction of a viaduct corridor between Ahmedabad and gandhinagar Gujarat government is in the process of acquiring 0-31-81 hectare are sq meter land of Vejalpur area. Some time back there was a protest from Thaltej area over acquiring land by government for Metro Rail project. Two plots number 53 and 54 of Vejalpur-2 are identified of Vejalpur TP,Town Planning.
This time government, after comprehensive protest at Thaltej has decided to make survey on acquiring Vejalpur land, its impact by talking to affected people, public private building owner and people.
