Vedanta Cairn’s cleanliness drive at Suvali
Vedanta Cairn, the Oil & Gas arm of Vedanta Limited recently conducted a cleanliness driveat Suvali beach. As a part of government’s SwachhataPakhwada program, the cleanliness drive was carried out at the beach where there onshore terminal is located.The program spanned from May 1st to 15th, saw participation of Vedanta Cairn’s employees in huge number for the cleanliness drive.
SwachhataPakhwada, fortnight initiative managed by the Ministry of Urban Development aims at promoting cleanliness. It has an intense focus on the issues and practices of Swachhata by engaging GOI ministries/departments in the respective jurisdictions. The Ministries observing SwachhataPakhwada are monitored closely using online monitoring system of SwachhataSamiksha where action plans, images, videos related to Swachhataactivities are uploaded and shared.
