Sriram Raghavan’s Badlapur has been in news because of many firsts for Varun Dhawan. It will be the first dark thriller for the chocolate boy. He will also depart from his clean-shaven looks with an edgy makeover that includes a beard. Now it is revealed that the young star will also be seen locking lips with senior actress, Divya Dutta, in the film. Sources reveals, “It’s a fullblown smooch. Both, Varun and Divya were initially uncomfortable doing the scene. They eventually got it right after four retakes.”
The scene, which was shot indoors, is a crucial part of the plot, added the source. Divya plays Shobha, one of the three women in the protagonist’s life. Yami Gautam and Huma Qureshi are playing the other ladies in the thriller which also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
