Today in Vadodara of Gujarat, a tuition teacher was reported to from forced his students to walk on broken glasses. The teacher on the pretext scientific reason that this action will sharpen their mind, forced students to walk over broken glasses laid on the floor. The incident appeared to be a cheap publicity.
Bhupendrasinh Chudasama, Education Minister reacting on the Vadodara students walking on broken glass said that he has instructed city Collector make an enquiry into the incident and there is no such base supporting improving of mind with such activities.
