In a recent horrific and sensational incident, a 16 years old minor girl was allegedly raped by two unidentified persons, whose accomplice restrained her male friend, on a deserted street on the outskirts of Vadodara city in Gujarat. The incident happened during Navaratri festival raising questions of girl and women in the state.
As per the case details, victim girl told the police that she had gone out to meet her childhood male friend at the city’s Laxmipura area at around 11 p.m., said Vadodara SP(rural).They were returning through the Bhayli locality on a Scooty when at around midnight, five persons on two-wheelers intercepted them on an isolated road.Two of them left after some argument, while three others remained. Of these three, two individuals raped the teenage girl, while the third person caught her male friend, according to complaint.
In a latest development , in just 48 hours of incident Vadodara crime branch has arrested all accused and investigating police officer will brief about the case and produce them before media and hand them over to the court.
On the horrific incident, Gujarat home minister Harsh Sanghavi was very emotional and assure to take firm action against rapists.
