In Vadodara, Jayesh Patel rape accused of Parul University on her own nursing student has admitted of having raped the girl during police remand. It was claimed by police chief Saurabh Tolambiya and IG Range GS Malik. Jayesh’s remaining statement will be taken as was admitted to ICU of SSG hospital in Vadodara after complaint of chest pain. After getting 3 more days of remand Jayesh was sent by Vadodara LCB Police Inspector KJ Chaudhary to Karjan police station by getting his custody from Central jail. On Friday morning, Jayesh was taken to Kothi building by Vadodara LCB and was interrogated. Jayesh admitted of rape by calling the student to her staff quarter during interrogation. His statement matched with the charges framed against him. Jayesh also accepted of using a tube without telling where from it was brought.
Vadodara’s 9th additional sessions judge AL Vyas had ordered police custody of Jayesh Patel till 5 pm of 10th July. In the meantime, Jayesh was admitted to SSG hospital where his X-ray, sonography and CT Scan tests were done. Presently, he admitted to ICU.
