Today, in Uttarkhand due to heavy rain showers twenty-six people were killed in rain-related incidents. Havoc like condition prevailed in hill states humid temperature in north India.In Cloudburst alone Twenty people were killed. In House collapse and landslips in Pauri, Dehradun and Pithoragarh districts of Uttarakhand, six more people died in Himachal Pradesh.
Due to heavy rains in Uttarakhand, including in the state capital, road link was cut off with 250 residents of a village in Pauri district from other states. Water level in Ganga just half a metre down the danger level at 340 metres at Ram Jhula in Rishikesh. Dehradun recorded a maximum 120 mm of rainfall, Rispana, Bindal and Jakhan rivers were in spate.
