The US Consulate General Mumbai and Indo American Education Society will hold a US University Fair in Ahmedabad on November 1, 2015 at the Rajpath Club between 10.30 a.m. – 4.30 p.m. At the Fair, students and parents will have the opportunity to interact directly with Indian alumni who studied in the United States and attend in-depth sessions on the university application process, admissions tests, and how to apply for a US student visa. The University Fair is free and open to the public.
The Fair will have representation from more than 25 major U.S. universities, including Brown University, M.I.T., Stanford University, University of Southern California, and others.
Consular Officers from the U.S. Consulate General and advisors from the IndoAmerican Education Society will be on hand to deliver presentations and answer questions from students and parents on selecting a university and applying for a visa. In addition, globally-recognized testing organizations—SAT, GRE, GMAT, and TOEFL—will send their representatives.
“With the high quality and diversity of educational institutions available in the United States, I am confident that Indian students will be able to find a school that is the right fit for achieving their educational and personal goals,” said US Consul General Tom Vajda. “We are bringing together alumni, education advisers, and Consulate staff at the U.S. University Fair in Ahmedabad so that Indian students and their parents can get the information they need to make the best decisions about their academic futures.”
