Tomorrow and day after tomorrow for 2 days India wide strike of Banking, railways, postal, medical and other services be affected with 10 central trade calling as anti-national and anti-workers policies of the BJP government.
About 20 crore workers in the largest ever from the organised and unorganised sector, to join the strike against the anti-people policies of government. Major unions including INTUC, AITUC, HMS, CITU, AIUTUC, TUCC, SEWA, AICCTU, LPF and UTUC have called for strike. Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh will not be part of the agitation.
Sectors like telecom, health, education, coal, steel, electricity, banking, insurance and transport among others are likely to support the strike.
The government has failed to provide employment and has been ignoring the demands of the unions. The group of ministers on labour has not met unions since 2015 which compelled unions to call for strike.
