Two Incidents of chain snatching happened in Ahmedabad at Vastrapur and Bapunagar area. On 19 November 2024 at 10 pm in Vastrapur it happened with Hetalben wife of Ronakbhai Shah , age 43, Resident of Samarpana Bungalow Opposite HP Petrol Pump Bodakdev. She has lodged a complaint in Vastrapur Police Station that on 19/11/2024.Two men on two-wheeler at Judges Bungalow Road Bodakdev near Amul Garden opposite Spring Field Bungalows and Row-House snatched a gold chain worth Rs 45,000 from the neck of Hetalbehan Shah’s mother-in-law and escaped. The crime is being investigated by Subinspector Shri Dinesh Kumar Bhurabhai.
On 18 November 2024 evening in Bapunagar, Dhiren Shah filed complaint in Bapunagar Police Station Dhiren Shah is Son of Kantilal Shah , age 50, Resident of Mahasukhnagar Society Noble School Beside Jain Derasar Near Krishnanagar Hirawadi Road Opposite Devbhumi Society Shri Adtalis Village Kadva Patidar.
Two men on a motorbike fled with a gold chain pedal worth Rs 34,583 from Dhiren Shah’s neck while driving an Activa near gates of Mahila Utkarsh Mandal. The crime is being investigated by Head Constable Shri Ajay Kumar Chandulal.
