WHO Secretary-General Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for promoting the Global Forum on Traditional Medicine. He said that their efforts are promoting traditional medicine. Dr Tedros mentioned about the basil plant in his address. He said – I am fortunate that I got the opportunity to plant Tulsi plants. He said that we are committed to the promotion of traditional, complementary and integrative medicine and through it we can make the world healthier.
Gujarat CM Patel addressed the Traditional Medicine Global Summit. He Said during Corona crisis, the idea of promoting traditional medicine had by Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi.
Bhutan’s Health Minister Dasho Dechen Wangmo said at the Traditional Medicine Global Summit – We provide treatment with allopathy and traditional medicine under one roof and a They pay the same salary to conventional doctors as to allopathic doctors.
WHO Regional Director Dr. Hans Kluge remembered Mahatma Gandhi at the summit. He said Truth is one but the ways to reach it are different. Health to be more important than gold and silver.
170 countries of the world took a pledge to promote traditional medicine. Expressed desire to work together with India in the field of traditional medicine.
