On 15th December 2024 in Ahmedabad city, three cases of suicide were reported in Bodakdev, Ramol and Gomtipur area respetively.
In Bodakdev, Ushabhen Bharatbhai Patel ,age 58 years Resident of C/302, Hari Darshan Avenue, Science City Road, Sola committed suicide due of mental illness on 15th December 2024 at around 4:00 pm at Shantikunj Bliss near Residential. She committed suicide by jumping from the 13th floor of “B” block. Bodakdev Police has registered an accidental death case and the investigation is being conducted by PSI Shri VU Rehvar.
In Ramol, minor son of Rajubhai Keshavalal Khatri, residing at Ambanagar, CTM behind Singhwai Mata temple, got tired of due to his illness and committed suicide by hanging himself on the ceiling of his house on 15th December 2024 before 4:30 pm. Ramol police has registered an accidental death case and investigation is being conducted by SI Shri Lakshamanbhai Babubhai.
In Gomtipur, Gurudipsingh Tarasingh Ratanpal , age 38 years, resident of Gajanand Ni Chali Patel Mill Opposite Gomtipur, who was suffering from mental illness, committed suicide by hanging himself with a dupatta oniron rode on the roof of his house on 15th December 2024 before 18:30 pm. Gomtipur Police has registered an accidental death case and investigation is being conducted by Head Constable Shri Sanjaybhai Maljibhai.
