Today representative Digvijaysinh Jadeja of Teachers union met Gujarat education minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama and raised their pending issues and demands. Minister Chudasama gave assurance to the representatives.
Primary school teachers of Gujarat went on mass CL , casual leave and held a rally to gherao Gujarat Vidhan Sabha in Gandhinagara. A statewide strike was called by School Teachers Association to satisfy their demands from Gujarat government. Teachers rally from Chanakya bhavan to Vidhan Sabha was planned by teachers.
Three members committee has been formed to address the issue of primary teachers of Gujarat added Chudasama.
Of late, Teachers were irked over the decision taken by union chief to call off the strike and deny to end it.
Teachers have lost faith in Digvijaysinh and wants to know what demands he placed before minister and out of which what demands were agreed. Teachers feel something fishy between their representative and minister and as a result refused to end the strike.
Police had to rush the site to control the mob. Many protesting teachers were detained for creating ruckus near Vidhan Sabha in Gandhinagar. Permission to rally of teachers was not given by Gandhinagar police.
