Ahmedabad, 5th September 2018 : On Occasion of Teacher’s day Celebrations, The Public Relations Society of India – Ahmedabad Chapter today organized a Teacher’s Day Felicitation Ceremony and a Symposium on the theme of “BE A TEACHER” – Building Modern India with Innovative Teaching Methods. In a Program organized at Ahmedabad Management association, around 12-13 teachers of Renowned schools, Educational Institutions and Compassionate schools for the specially abled Children were honored for their immense contributions towards the field of education.
On this Occasion, PRSI Ahmedabad Chapter officials – Mr. Unmesh Dikshit – VP, PRSI National Council, Mr. R .K Singh – Chairman, PRSI Ahmedabad Chapter, Mr. Subhojit Sen – Secretary, PRSI Ahmedabad Chapter, Mr. Bhavesh Upadhyaya – Past Chairman – PRSI Ahmedabad Chapter & CEO of Enterprising Indian, Mr. Shashikant Bhagat – Special Committee member, Mr. Vicky Shah and few others honoured Shri SANJAY CHAKRABORTY (Founder and the Chief Marketing Advisor, ESSKSEE Consultancy) for his immense contributions to the World of Education. A Marketing Communications professional with more than twenty-five years of extensive experience in marketing communication strategies, Shri Sanjay has visited more than 55 different management institutes {count is on }to deliver sessions on Branding, Advertising and Communications and has been credited with the entry into India Book Of Records in the appreciation category for visiting maximum management institutes by an advertising professional He has Authored 4 books published by one of the best and reputed management association – Ahmedabad Management Association.
The program began in the memory of Dr. Sarvapalli Radha Krishnan who was the first vice-president of India and also a teacher by profession. Teachers and Professors of St. Xaviers Mirzapur, Bhavan’s College, Gujarat University department of journalism and mass communication and Kameshwar group of schools and colleges were awarded in the category of Schools with a mission to drive education in a creative manner. In the category of Special and Compassinoate Schools awards were given to Andh Kanya Prakash Gruh, Deaf and Dumb Mute School, Apang Manav Mandal, Umeed Asha Kiran School Airforce- Jamnagar, SEWA and Visamo Kids Foundation.
Special award was also given to Mrs. Amarjeet Rathore – Head of Academic team at Bhanwar Rathore Design Studio who has been instrumental in crafting the careers of thousands of students in Fashion and Interior Designing by mentoring them across 26 centers of BRDS across the country.
A Special award also given to N. Sathyanarayan (co-founder and Academic head, iQue ideas) who has been appearing for the CLAT along with his students. His first hand experience at cracking the paper (2015, 16, 17 & 18), give him firsthand knowledge of the paper and exam conditions. Using this experience, he has been able to guide students on their preparations.
A symposium was also organized on the theme of “BE A TEACHER” – Building Modern India with Innovative Teaching Methods in 2 Sections and it was moderated by DR.SHIRISH KASHIKAR (DIRECTOR, NIMCJ) for group 1 and by Mr. Bhavesh Upadhyay, Founder and Managing Director of Enterprising Indian for group 2. Several known educationists of the Society like Father Titus D’ Costa – St Xavier’s Mirazapur, Dr. Sonal Pandya – Gujarat University department of journalism and mass communication, Shri Maulik Shah – Bhanwar Rathore Design Studios, Dr Jesal Patel – Campus Director – Kameshwar group of schools and colleges, Ms. Vibha Sharma – Umeed Asha Kiran School, Airforce , Mrs Hasyalatha Mehta, Principal, ASHA School, Dr. Paavan Pandit – Bhavan’s HBICM and Mr. Deepu Krishna – iQue ideas exchanged their thoughts with Sanjay Chakraborty Sir and others on the themes. Mr. Rajendra Jangid, Interio Designer, Royal Interio was present on the occasion.
A group photo to launch the 60 Years logo of PRSI and to celebrate the awardees was conducted at the end. The Program ended with a wonderful Visual presentation by Shri Sanjay Chakraborty Sir on School and Corporate life learnings that we have gained from our teachers.
