Taxi Operators and Travel Service provides have now decided to switch to luxuries cars to be provided to VVIPs visiting Gujarat during upcoming Vibrant Gujarat event. Operators are on lookout for BMW, Audi, Mercs and such luxrious cars which will be in much demand can help pocket them huge profits. They are in touch with counter part in Mumbai and other cities.
Director of a city-based travel company tells rentals for these premium cars vary from Rs 50 to Rs 150 per km with a minimum 200 km travel per day. The average daily rental for premium cabs could be anywhere between Rs 10,000 and Rs 25,000. President of Gujarat Luxury Cab Owner’s Association, said they would require at least 3,000 luxury cars.
