Today a Prayer meeting on birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi Ji and former Prime Minister of India Lal Bahadur Shastriji was held in Ahmedabad by Gujarat Congress to pay tribute to great soul. Devotional songs giving tribute to Gandhiji and Shastriji were played. Congress party men including MLA and MPs attended it.

Today during his visit to Tashkent in Uzbeksitan Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani visited the school named after former Prime Minister of India Lal Bahadur Shastri. Rupani paid homage at his monument. CM interacted with the students and enjoyed the cultural performance by them in Hindi.
