On 26th January Republic Day this year as Indian celebrates Aazadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Gujarat state will highlight the contribution of Gujarat’s tribals in the freedom struggle through tableau at Republic Day Parade in New Delhi.
In the tableau on ‘Tribal Revolutionaries of Gujarat’, in Pal and Dadhav villages of Sabarkantha district of North Gujarat, Britishers had created a more horrific massacre than Jallianwala Bag, in which about 1200 tribals were martyred. On 100th anniversary of this unknown historical event, the Government of Gujarat will present to the world heroic story of the tribals of Gujarat through a tableau.
