Rupees 1016 crores worth of diamond scam exposed today. Big scam of Synthetic Diamond Import-Export have come to light. Rs 116 crores worth diamond scam caught in Sachin SEZ Special Economic Zone of Surat.
Trade in synthetic diamonds instead of original diamonds. DRI Directorate of Revenue Intelligence arrested 3 persons with diamonds worth Rs 1.34 crores Big fraud with government for crores of rupees. The scam was exposed during DRI investigation.
Earlier also Hawala scam in Hong Kong was exposed in Sachin SEZ. Diamonds worth Rs 100 crores were sold in local market. Two days remand for Accused has been granted to DRI by court to check where and to whom the diamonds have been sold.
