41 faculty members from across 13 departments and schools of Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University participated in the event
Ahmedabad, April 30, 2024: Swarrnim Wellness Centre, a part of Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University, in collaboration with Heartfulness Institute, recently organised the first Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Emotional Wellbeing through Meditation. Held from April 25 to 27, 2024, the three-day programme – a pioneering initiative by Swarrnim – marked a significant milestone in fostering holistic wellness among the faculty members and academic circles of the university.
Facilitators including Shri Lalit Kumar Tuli and Dr. Rina Kumari from Ahmedabad and Professor Lalit Chande from Rajkot, together conducted an immersive session which saw participation of some 41 faculty members, representing some 13 departments as well as schools of Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University.
The programme covered a diverse range of topics crucial for emotional wellness, including Heartful Campus initiatives, the 5C’s for stress-free education namely Contentment, Calmness, Compassion, Courage and Clarity, the science of meditation, mental and social wellbeing, relaxation techniques, rejuvenation practices, yogic transmissions, and the comprehensive ‘Heartfulness (HFN)’ System by Heartfulness Institute.
The FDP succeeded with the support of Shri Kirtan Sanghavi, Shri Rupesh Bole, Dr Yogesh Patel, and Shri Kejal Kansara, who played vital roles in ensuring the seamless execution of this programme.
The organisers extended their appreciation to the leadership of Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University President Shri Rishabh Jain, Vice President Shri Adi Jain, Provost Dr. Ragin Shah, Registrar Dr. Upendra Patel, and CAO Dr. Ramsinh Rajput. Additionally, the contributions of Academic Deans namely Dr. Kavita Kshatriya, Dr. Hiren Kadikar and Dr. Birendra Shrivastava, along with all deans, principals and heads of Departments and Schools of Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University were acknowledged. The Heartfulness Institute also gave a special recognition to CRM Mrs Ritu Vijay Vargiya, Ms Sneha Someshwar and Shri Amit Panchal.
