Swarrnim University and Heritage Community College, Canada Collaborate to Forge Global Learning Pathways

Gandhinagar, 14thApril, 2025: In a landmark initiative to deepen international academic collaboration, Swarrnim Startup & Innovation University (SSIU), situated near Adalaj in Gandhinagar, announced that it has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Heritage Community College (HCC), Canada. The MoU was formally executed on 09thApril, 2025, during a special signing ceremony facilitated by the Swarrnim International Cell. The occasion marks a significant milestone in Swarrnim University’s efforts to build impactful global partnerships that benefit its student community.

The agreement sets the stage for Indian students to enrol in six online diploma programmes offered by HCC. These include in-demand domains such as Business, Information Technology, Hospitality, and Healthcare—sectors that are seeing rapid transformation and offer robust career prospects worldwide.

As part of the MoU, Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University will act as a facilitating partner in India, promoting these Canadian diploma programmes and managing student admissions while ensuring that all enrolment adheres to HCC’s academic criteria and quality standards.

The MoU was signed by Mr Nilesh Lal, Director, HCC, and Mr. Vijayant Kumar, Director, Training & Placement and International Cell, Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University, signifying a mutual commitment to student-centric, future-ready education. By creating an accessible international academic platform through online learning, the collaboration opens up new avenues for Indian students to upskill and gain globally recognised qualifications without the need for relocation.
