Gandhinagar, October 03, 2024: The Swarrnim School of Mass Communication and Liberal Arts at Swarrnim Startup and Innovation University recently organised an educational visit for the students to the BM Institute of Mental Health in Ahmedabad. This initiative was designed for undergraduate Liberal Arts students to enhance their understanding of mental health, psychological disorders, and the scope of psychology as a career.
Students learnt about mental well-being – their own as well as that of others and also about several aspects of mental healthcare in addition to first-hand exposure to professional practices in the field. Faculty members, Ms Dhanushi Surana, Dr Anil Borkar, and the Liberal Arts faculty, coordinated the event and accompanied the students during the visit
