Surat traders keep shops closed against GST

Today in Surat, textile traders have kept their shops closed in Chowk Bajar.

Textile traders were protesting against GST. More than 350 police personnel have been deployed to impose tight security including 15 PI Police Inspector, 35 PSI Police Sub Inspector, 1 ACP Assistant Commissioner of Police and 1 DCP Deputy Commissioner of Police.

As a response to Surat traders in Ahmedabad,  Maskati market to remain closed to protest against GST. Textile traders of Ahmedabad, to join protest against GST by Surat traders.
