Surat : Accused Guddu Yadav Convicted and Sentenced to Death, under the rarest of rare cases in Pandesara, who abducted a 2.5 years old girl, raped , killed her and dumped her dead body in the forest. Victim Girl was strangulated to death after rape by the accused, which was confirmed in post mortem report.
The accused in this case has been sentenced to death by Surat Sessions Court within 30 days only. Dead body of a 2.5 years old girl was found raped and murdered in Pandesara, Surat. The case was quickly filed by Surat police. In this case, Surat Sessions Court has given sentence in just 29 days.
The case was filed in the court yesterday and the court had earlier found the accused guilty yesterday itself. Sessions court pronounced sentence on the same day. In a single day, the death sentence has been pronounced by the sessions court in this case.
Rs 20 lakhs will be provided to parents of the victim from Victim Compensation Fund. Fast track and important judgment taken by the court will set an example in the society. There was no remorse on the face of the accused when the judgment was announced.
