Surat: multi crore scam by bogus lucky draw;investors tempted to become flat/car owner in Pune Bombay Market area

Incident of multi crore money scam in the name of Maruy Pankh lucky draw system on Puna Bombay market road has come up. In the scam, fraud organisers collected about Rs 100 crores from 70,000 people through 1000 agents. As per police sources, Bhavesh Jandhara, Mudal Hadia, Haresh Katria, Kanu Hadia, Bhavesh Jinjada, naresh Jinjada, Pratap Vandra and Bijal Badliyani in the name of lucky draw scheme started office and in 2 years time span made 1000 agents. Organisers tempted investors by showing dream to become flat or car owner with small investment through lucky draw scheme. Fraud organisers to win faith of investors used to organise Navratri program at Parvat Patiya. With an intention to own falt or car by small investment, many investors invested their hard money in a fraud lucky draw system. In the name of Income Tax query organisers closed down their office and fled away before agent could smell anything wrong about it. One agent Alpesh Prajapati had collected Rs 1.45 crores and other agent Paresh Shyara had collected Rs 1.50 crores from investors of lucky draw which was taken away by fraud organisers. Agent Alpesh Prajapati lodged FIR with police. PI Police Inspector RM Patel informed that organisers gave false promise to return invested amount of Rs 1500 in 10 months, if they are not selected in the draw. Investors have gone underground by fooling investors.
