Today in Surat of Gujarat, around 600 pro BJP businessmen and supporters sat on a token hunger strike for release of Patidar leader Hardik Patel and other Patidars in jail. Lalji Patel who purchased prime minister Narendra Modi’s suit also supported the token hunger strike. It was also supported by Kumar Kanani and Praful Panseria, who till now kept away from the strike. Till now protest were made by Patidar youth only. On April 6, more than 500 businessmen associated with diamond and construction formed Patidar Sangh who has announced token hunger strike to media.
