In Surat, incident of rape and trying to burn the girl by boyfriend Krishna on a girl working as a caterer on Ved Road has come up. The accused is said to be a one sided lover of caterer girl who was gangraped by boyfriend and his friends. After rape girl was tried to be burnt alive using petrol. Victim girl was raped in Variyav jungle. However girl jumped into a canal to save herself.Krishna saved her from drowing in canal but warned her not to take any legal action else he will kill her. The girl was left in Variyav jungle in semi nude condition. Girl went her home in burnt condition. Girl is in Surat Civil Hospital and in serious condition. Yestderday, victim girl stayed with her friend in Rupam society on Ved Road in the night. Krishna and his 2 friends came on bike in the night and forcefully took her on bike to Variyav where they raped her and tried to burn alive. It is learnt that Krishna was in one sided love with victim girl and pestering her for last 2 years. Girl had to 2 times make police compliant against Krishna.
