Surat: health team raids Sweet & Farsan Shop
Today in Surat for the third day, Health team of SMC Surat Municipal Corporation raids at Sweet and Farsan Shops ahead of Rakhi festival at various places including Athwa, Central Zone, Rander Zone and Katargaam.
Samples of sweets were sealed and collected for testing at the laboratory of SMC. The raids were conducted on instructions from SMC Commissioner. It will continue till Sunday.
Laboratory Reports will be available in 14 days. Actions against sweet shops will be taken, if quality of sweet or farsan is found harmful.
All types of sweets and farsan used for sell and distribution would be check by health team.
