Surat : Sholay style rally against GST by Congress

Recently in Surat, Congress workers took out a rally against GST Goods and Services Tax in a very famous movie Sholay style in Surat.

Protestors turned up in attire of Gabbar Singh and Thakur Baldev Singh and walked on the streets of Surat city.

Later police arrested them for holding rally without permission and carrying air guns, which resembled rifles.

Election authorities were also informed.

There was a large scale protest against GST implementation with effect from 1st July this year. People were affected in Gujarat in general and particularly in Surat. Small Textile industry was badly affected with GST and had incurred major loss.
