In recent hooch tragedy at Vareli of Surat, death toll has reached to 21, with death of 1 more person. 5 police officers have been transfered as an immediate action. Top police official visit hospital to enquire health of affected people in hooch tragedy.
Person named Jayesh died last night only. He was brought in 108 ambulance from Vareli to Surat. Hooch bag was recovered from Jayesh’s pocket which he consumed during treatment.
Hasmukh Bharwad and 2 others have been suspended by Surat IG range of police.
PI Police Inspector MN Chavda has been transferred to License Branch by Surat Police Commissioner.
