On Tuesday in Surat, A chemical businessman from Surat was found murdered in a canal near Kamrej close to BRTS route from a jute bag. The deceased, Niraj Rai, was missing since 25th September. Police Inspector PK patel is investing the case. Police have detained 2 suspects. Priliminarily the case looks to be of murder. There are CCTV footage about murder of victim, as per his friend.
Niraj was owing Rs 1.50 crore from Mohamadbhai. Money deal could have been the reason behind crime, is suspected.
