Yesterday in Athwa lines at 11 pm in posh area of Surat, incident of killing a 26 year old businessman living at 55A, Sarjan Society has come up. Thieves came from front door and when they pressed door bell, victim Dishit Jariwala opened the door who was taken up at a knife point by thieves and his wife and daughter were locked in the bathroom. Dishit was stabbed 8 times from head to chest after the loot by thieves and throwing him on the bed. Thieves flee away taking Dishit’s car and left it at about 300 meters away at Malhar apartment. Later Dishit’s wife shouted from bathroom after breaking its glass on listening which neighours came to her resecue and called police. From CCTV footage it was confirmed that thieves had came for the first time at 9:30 pm in auto and went back. Later at 10:00 pm they came again. They had studied about timings of Dishit’s movement. Mostly in Sarjan Society posh and financially well to do family are only staying. Dishit got married with Velcy and they had a one and half year old daughter Piyona. Disihit had a looms factory in Surat. Thieves had total details about Dishit and suspected from his nearby circle. Thieves had brough chilli poweder with them but they did not use it as they lockedwife and daughter in the bathroom. Thieves had looted only golden jewellery when there were other costly things in the house. They were all masked, is suspected.
