Surat airport of Gujarat is likely to get the name of Late former Prime Minister Morarji Desai. Prime Minister office in Delhi itself has initiated the process in this regard, and after all procedures in Civil Aviation Ministry in Delhi, the airport will be given name as ‘Morarji Desai Domestic Airport Surat’. Desai was elected to Lok Sabha from Surat only.
