Today, Surat Police Commissioner Satish Sharma held a press conference and briefed about the facts in connection with gangrape on a Mumbai based model.
The Model was called from Mumbai and taken to a farmhouse in Adajan limit. She was raped by 7 to 9 persons between night of 29th to 30th March. Based on her call on 100 number Adajan police released her from clutches of accused and on 30th March case against all persons was booked. On 29th night she was kept in police custody at Adajan police.
Adajan police has arrested three persons including Ramesh Kumar alias RK Lakhani who is also booked in murder, prohibition and threatening case. Two others have also been arrested. Names of other accused have been obtained. RK is a habitual offender proves charges against him in other cases.
The model has been sent for medical check-up.
Remand for accused will be obtained.
