Supreme Court guidelines open violation in Ahmedabad as crackers bursted all throughout the night
Ahmedabad turned into a gas chamber with air and gas pollution.
Despite of Supreme Court guideline violation of bursting crackers between 8 to 10 pm was clearly seen in Ahmedabad city as crackers were bursted all throughout the night.
There were notifications of Ahmedabad Commissioner applying legal actions against those violating norms of Supreme Court on bursting crackers during this Diwali.
Air pollution in Ahmedabad reached to its extreme due to crackers, following capital city of Delhi. Air Quality Index in Ahmedabad was around 200 which is sign of poor air quality.
During colder season Air Quality Index gets poor and it improves with warmer season.
There also a need to have drastic change in the kind of composition used in manufacturing of crackers in view of air pollution and air quality index.
Reports of complaint from senior citizens facing breathing problems came up.
