Sunanda Pushkar death case, AIIMS doctor says was pressurised to give false report

Sunanda Tharoor death case, leads to new findings and points investigation into newer direction, with recent claim of head of forensics department of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) that he was forced to give tailor made report in the case.

Sunanda, wife of Shashi Tharoor, Union Minister, was recovered from Leela Hotel in the evening at 8 pm by Tharoor on January 17.

As per sources, Dr Sudhir Gupta, who headed the team of forensic experts that conducted the postmortem, has communicated through a letter to the health ministry and the chief vigilance commission complaining that he was pressurized by top higher ups to show it as a “natural death”. Dr Gupta has claimed that he is now being victimsed because he did not surrender to the pressure and gave a report stating that Sunanda’s death was caused by drug poisoning that could be both suicidal or homicidal.
