Somnath temple located in Prabhas Patan near Veraval in Saurashtra on the western coast of Gujarat.
69th Foundation Day of Somnath Temple was celebrated 0n 11th May 2019. Way back on 11th May 1951, was inaugurated at 9:46 hrs by then President of India Dr Rajendra Prasad.
Water from 108 Tirtha was offered to lord Somnath with Mantras chanted by 108 Brahmins at a gun salute of 108 guns.
On account of 69th Foundation Day, various religious of Bhajan and other cultural programs are arranged today.
