But the actor has confirmed that she is not playing any role in the film. The first installment of the flick ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’ came out in 2015 and earned over 600 crores INR worldwide. And it became the first South Indian film to gross over Rs 600 crore worldwide and the first non-Hindi film to gross over Rs 100 crore in the dubbed Hindi version. It is also the highest grossing Telugu film of all time.
It was stated that the actor has rubbished the reports claiming them to be just rumors. She said that the makers of the epic drama have not approached her, but she would like to be part of the film. Actress recently visited Delhi for an event, said that, “I haven’t been approached by the makers. I wish I were a part of this film but I am not.” Shriya Saran was last seen in Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam, a suspense drama. Reportedly the she is also playing a cameo in Nagarjuna’s upcoming Tamil-Telugu bilingual film Oopiri. Oopiri also has Tamannaah, Karthi in the lead roles. It is titled Thozha in Tamil.
