AMA, affiliated with All India Management Association (AIMA), is observing ‘Management Week’ from February 17 to 24. The week-long celebration is marked by a series of seminars, summits, workshops, and discussions around various aspects of management, conducted by revered industry experts.
The honourable former minister, highlighted how the practices of circular economy can be used productively again and again to create further value. He also emphasised on how the economy entails markets that incentivise reuse of products over scrapping them.
“In such an economy, all forms of waste, such as clothes, scrap metal and obsolete electronics, are returned to the economy or used more efficiently. This can provide a way to not only protect the environment, but use natural resources more wisely, develop new sectors, create jobs and develop new capabilities,” according to the minister.
The session provided useful insights to all the participants about doing business sustainably and consciously making an effort to promote a circular economy in India.
The last two days of AMA Management Week will be marked by the second day of Kirloskar Vasundhara International Film Festival 2024 and a CSR conference, which will be held on Saturday.
