Shree Samast Gujarat Brahmasamaj outlined Gujarat level programs with tobjective of enhancing contribution of Brahmo Samaj in social, economic and political development of India, by increasing representation of the society and creating new opportunities for youth of society and their empowerment.
In order boost development of the society and to provide strong representation to youth Malavbhai Pandit has been appointed by Regional President Bharatbhai Raval and General Secretary Amit Dave.
Malavbhai Pandit said, “I thank all office bearers and members of important responsibility entrusted to me for contributing to welfare and upliftment of the Brahmo Samaj. Other social service matters related to one’s own society as well as health, education and employment oriented plans will be carried out in the future. He informed about the work to be done for social unity like Nu Shakti Sammelan. It was stated by the main leaders that the trustee of the organization. Following discussions with Dr Yagnesh Dave, various programs will be organized in the near future to unite the society in order to strengthen political representation of society in the state along with the social and economic contribution of the Brahmo Samaj.
Given the number and percentage of Brahmo Samaj in the state, which is currently under-represented in political parties, a strategy will be devised to give tickets to Brahmin candidates in any party in forthcoming Assembly elections. It is to be mentioned that various welfare initiatives are carried out on a regular basis by the Brahmo Samaj, including free health diagnostic camps, business summits, Brahma Gaurav Awards and cultural programs. A tournament is also being organized.
